Chop Shop Entertainment is becoming one of the industries most innovative providers in the creation of home entertainment.
In Late 2005, Zak Knutson and Joey Figueroa started Chop Shop Entertainment. Chop Shop develops innovative internet, DVD, corporate, television, and feature film based entertainment. Zak and Joey have over 20 years of combined feature film and television experience. Chop Shop is currently finishing work on Zack and Miri Make A Porno. The film stars Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks, and was written and directed by longtime Chop Shopİcollaborator, Kevin Smith. Chop Shop is providing original internet webisodes, EPK materials, DVD featurettes, and a feature length documentary on the making of the movie. This is similar to the award winning work that Chop Shop Entertainment provided for Kevin Smith's last feature film, Clerks II. Chop Shop Entertainment is also currently working with NBC.com and Electric Farm Entertainment to produce original "behind the scenes" webisodes for the new online sci-fi series Gemini Division, starring Rosario Dawson. The Clerks II DVD was one of the most successful releases of the last year. Chop Shop produced a 75 episode internet making-of diary that was available through the films official website as well as Apple's Itunes. The webisodes were downloaded over 20 million times making them some of the most downloaded webisodes on the internet. The were then turned into DVD featurettes for additional bonus material. Chop Shop also got rave reviews for its original feature length documentary on the making of film called Back to the Well: Clerks II.
